What is Vesconite?
Vesconite is based on an advanced thermoplastic polymeric material and bridges the gap between metallic and conventional engineering plastic bearing materials. It is the preferred material when high loads must be carried with small clearances, under dirty and unlubricated conditions at medium impact loading and is unsurpassed in most immersed and corrosive applications. Often gives ten times longer service than phosphor bronze and thus proves a popular general purpose antiwear and antifriction material, combining low initial cost, ready availability, easy machinability less critical design requirements with exceptional service life in demanding applications.
